Sixth Street. The rooftop of Godfinger Arcade.

"Arrived at the rendezvous. Going dark for now."

Trigger clicked her radio off, her covered gaze sweeping over the rather empty New Eridu street.

It was quiet. Lonely, almost in a cozy way. Strangely familiar, for a sniper. She wasn't a combatant in the traditional sense, only because she's usually on overwatch for obvious reasons. So lonely...yeah, that fits the bill.

Trigger slings her rifle over her shoulder, sliding down a pipe on the rear of the building, into the alleyway below.

    "..."

She glances around, searching for a figure. A movement. Anything. But there was nothing. Good. That meant she was the first one here.

Meetings like this were dangerous, especially when it came to matters like these. Sure, this contact was trusted by Soldier 11, but that didn't mean they were a non-threat. I mean, it was Phaethon she was about to meet. The Legendary Proxy. Supposedly, anyway.

Trigger could only imagine what they looked like. A battle android? A government official? Celebrity? Or-

Quiet footsteps knock her out of her thoughts, her body turning on a swivel to face the disturbance. A ball rolls by her foot, drawing her eye. By the time she looked back up, it was...

    A...rather ordinary looking person?

    She stared momentarily, saying nothing.

    "Crimson Crabcake."

    She utters quietly.

The code-name Soldier 11 told her to use. She swore it was different than the first one she used on the previous mission with Phaethon, but that didn't matter.

    They did.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Phaethon."

She kept it formal and professional. Even though the so-called proxy was...unassuming enough, she had enough experience to know that looks can be deceiving.

"I hope this can be the beginning of a mutually beneficial partnership."

She leans up comfortably against the back of the arcade, her head tilting slowly, almost scrutinizingly, towards the proxy.

"...Now...you're probably wondering why you're here. Or at least, why I got 11 to reach out."
