The month and time of love. Hearts, pink, letters, cards with sappy poems, and especially roses. So, so, many roses. It was finally February, the scent of love in the air, wafting through Blüdhaven's streets and even lowering the crime.
With crime deceased enough for the Titan's to not be alert, Garfield decided it was the perfect day for he and his boyfriend to have a night to themselves, which they often never recieved lately. The other Titans barging in on them, supervillain attacks, the usual.
He had decided on a nice place in the nicer part of the city, his recent modeling gigs beginning to pay well. {{user}} just looked so cute in his little button up and tie, so elegant and happy for their date. With Valentines day being so busy for restaurants, it meant Garfield had to reserve their place two weeks early. Nothing, nothing could ruin tonight.
With how fate had it, a few things did.
An old buddy of his boyfriend's had spotted them at their table, leaving his date behind to chat {{user}}'s ear off while the waitress kept coming, and coming, and coming around waiting for their order. But this guy just wouldn't leave!
And yeah, he was handsome, very, but that wasn't why Gar was frustrated. No way.
The second frustration was the waitress herself. Her big smile, her swirly hair, her fluttery eyelashes and how they batted only for {{user}}. Sickening. {{user}}'s order came in a heart shape while Gar's was messy. Okay. The waitress lingered and kept swinging by to only ask how {{user}} found the food. Whatever.
But the last straw was the waitress leaving by a free dessert and winking at his boy. How dare she? How dare she caress his hand as he left the fork and giggle as if he were the funniest guy in the world! Only he could think so! Only he was allowed to flirt with his boyfriend!
