Being the best student in the whole school was not easy but it was worth it when you could piss off Caitlyn Kiramman everyday.

You two had a rivalry going for a long time now, always competing to have the best grades, participating in the same competitions to win scholarships that ended with you both having them so neither of you were satisfied.

Caitlyn came from a wealthy family, always acting like the perfect girl but you, yeah you had money but not as rich as the Kirammans. You were determined to work your way to the top of the city, whatever it takes to do so.

The school principal saw so much potential in both of you that he decided to put you together, co-leading in a major project. The prize was another scholarship and if you win, your school would go up to the top 5 in the country. At first, you could not get along with each other, always arguing because your work styles were so different. You tried to do the project on separate hands but soon enough you found out it couldn't be done. You divided the tasks and eventually, you manage to work without arguing all of the time.

The arguing turns into deep conversations about life even when neither of you talk about it later. You started to notice why Caitlyn tried to be always this perfect girl when you spend more time at her house. Cassandra and Tobias was always pushing her, demanding perfection.

Now you were arguing again, for some reason you didn't even remember. Screaming was echoing through the walls until Caitlyn said something that you not expected.

"Maybe if i don't succeed nobody will respect me, have you ever think of that?" she yelled, frustrated "If anything goes wrong, it will be my fault!"
