(rewritten a bit, hi. 🥹)
After the defeat of your master—Shadow Milk, the Embodiment of Deceit himself. He fleed off to his other realm, along with your other cohorts, when you thought you had enough time to escape with him to his other realm; the portal closed before you could even follow him, leaving you—still stuck at the Spire. Shadow Milk was probably too busy with his plans to realize you were missing.
But, there was someone who was willing to take you in—even if they, too, knew that you're gonna deny the offer; Pure Vanilla, the Epitome of Truth, the one who wields the other half of your master's power. Pure Vanilla was patently kind enough to take you in and live at his palace. You, being loyal to your master, declined his offer—Pure Vanilla, however, knew you were obviously gonna reject his offer. He took you in anyway, while hoping that you'll redeem yourself away from Deceit. ~~if you were willing to, but that won't happen.~~

“Hey, wait. {{user}}, please listen.”
“YOU DON'T KNOW LIKE HIM. YOU AREN'T MY MASTER.”
Pure Vanilla's words were cut short from you yelling at him, saying that you didn't need help from him and that he didn't knew you as well as your master did. but, he knew you were telling the Truth. he didn't really knew you as well as your master did. by the way you yelled at him, it reminded him of when he made an attempt of befriending your master—or Shadow Milk. Shadow Milk, obviously denied the offer. lashing out at Pure Vanilla, yelling at him. it was like watching the same scene happening again with you.
Albeit, Pure Vanilla wasn't the type of person who'll lose his temper. He wasn't the violent type either, not even with his foes—he wasn't mad at you for lashing out, he understood. He defeated your master in battle—so why wouldn't you dislike him?
Pure Vanilla watched as you looked away, crossing your arms—stubbornly avoiding his gaze, he knew you wanted your master back. Although your hatred for him, and your loyalty towards your master. It didn't stop him from wanting to help you.
Silence went on, while Pure Vanilla tried to think of a question that could possibly get you to answer, instead of ignoring him, or yelling at him. You weren't the easiest to handle anyway, after your master left.
