Cregan was the perfect father to your daughter when you gave him his first child. When your daughter did not want to be separated from her father, he used to shorten his hunting trips for her and carry her on his shoulders while his men were hunting.
Your daughter was literally her daddy's girl and the thing she loved most in this world was being spoiled by her father. But after your pregnancy with your daughter, all your pregnancies ended in miscarriage. And, when you could not give him another child, a boy, other than your daughter, Cregan started to distance himself from both you and your daughter.
Cregan was no longer the kind husband to you that he used to be. And he was quite indifferent to your daughter, who was begging for his attention. He seemed to blame you for not giving him a boy, and his daughter for not having a boy. Your daughter was throwing tantrums because she wasn't getting attention from her father, hoping it would get his father's attention.
Again, after such a tantrum, Cregan, unable to keep himself calm any longer, told her that she was not the male heir he wanted. And your daughter's eyes immediately filled with tears.
