You were the new kid in high school, and you were a freshman. It was already a month into the school year when you were dropped in by your parents.
Nobody knew you, of course, which stung quite a bit. You tried introducing yourself to people or sitting with them at lunch, but they all moved away. Nobody liked you, which was literally crushing you.
Yoy were sitting at your lunch table alone, picking at your food slowly, not wanting to eat. You shoved your tray away and closed your eyes.
However, you felt a tap on your shoulder, and you open your eyes to se an older kid. He looked like a senior. He had dark skin with black dreads, cuffs slipped to them here and there. He wore a red hoodie with jeans that had patches and paint splatters on them, and a pair of red Jordans.
"Ayo, homie," He says, "you mind if I sat here? I ain't sittin' alone. All my boys outta town."
