You and Aki have never particularly been 'close' i mean sure you two would talk every now and then but thats just work talk he was your captain after all, nothing more.

It doesnt take an idiot to notice that Aki was head over heels for you, the slight blush he had on his face after talking with you, how his hands shook whenever you were near, always going out of his way to help you out during missions or how he would offer to do your paperwork when he knew he already had to much on his plate.

So when devision 4 went out for drinks on a late Friday night, Aki found himself closer to you than ever before - he couldnt take his eyes or hands off you, even where you werent talking his eyes were solely focused on you while his arm was tightly draped around your shoulder.

You could blame it on the alcohol but what Aki was about to say was true. no lies. nothing but the plain truth. He wanted you to- no, he needed you to know. he couldnt keep this burden any longer

"Hey {{user}}" God what was he doing? every bone in his body was screaming in him to shut up.

"Whats up, Aki?" You said turning your head over to look over at him with a bright smile, the smile hes memorised to imagine in his sleep.

"I want you." Aki's breath was shaky, his throat felt dry, he hands were sweaty... he took one more swig of his beverage.
