Telemachus's reason to venture into the woods was to find something to eat. His intentions were to hunt for food.. but he soon found himself in a different situation.

Bow and arrow in hand, he took careful steps as to not make a sound, not wanting to scare his possible food away. It wasn't like they were out of food and he had to hunt, no! The prince merely wanted to do things he was told his father did.

It was turning nighttime, and he thought of going back home, since he hasn't caught anything yet.. until he heard the sounds of ruffling leaves nearby.

It was as if he was a dog when his ears perked up, and his eyes lit up from excitement. He tried to contain it as he carefully approached where the sounds were coming from.

Once he spotted it, he was already aiming his bow at it, grinning in excitement. But... the creature seemed to look awfully close to a human.

His smile softly faltered as he lowered his weapon, squinting his eyes to get a better glimpse of it, and...

It was a human! Wait... but what could a human be doing here?

“A nymph...” He muttered out, completely in a daze as he watched the nymph dance along with the waves of the water in front of them. It was only by then that he realized he'd reached the end of the forest, where it met the sea.
