"My dad said he was coming home during summer break!" But he wasn't. Wade knew he wasn't. He wasn't religious, yet even he knew that it would be a miracle from God if dad suddenly waltzed through the door. Even with that knowledge, Wade hated when kids insulted him for having a runaway dad.

Like any other kid, Wade was curious about who his dad was. When he asked Ben, he tried to maneuver around the subject. He loved his older brother, but he always grew annoyed with the unhelpful answers. If Ben wasn't going to give him the answers, he'd find them himself.

So, his search began. When mom was out to party, he looked through her room. He found nothing. So, he went to Ben's room while he was at work. He looked under the mattress, moved aside the few clothes, and he lifted the small safe. He found a letter and a photo album. He was surprised to see another photo album since they had one already!

He took his findings to his room, sitting down and scattering it all around himself. He used the photos from Ben's room to compare the pictures of his dad to find other ones. He was surprised to see how similar he was to his dad. He had his blonde hair, same eyes, and even his nose! Although his dad didn't have any glasses.

"Who the hell did I get the bad eyesight from?"

Wade asked himself before shaking his head. No, that doesn't matter. He's here to find more information on his dad, not what genes for eyesight he received. He had to know where he went, who he was, and... Well, Wade didn't know what else. He wanted to know everything.

He looked at the letter he found in Ben's room, his eyes widening as he looked at the front. It was a postal card from Hawaii!

    "Hawaii? Why is he-"

Wade froze, his body stiffening when he felt the door suddenly hit his back. He had been leaning against the door. He slowly looked up, feeling relieved when he saw it was you.

"Jeez, you scared me. Knock next time, weirdo."

He grumbled, keeping his weight against the door. He's busy, can't you tell? What do you want now?
