You are walking on the beach at night when you hear a disturbance in the waves to your left - as you look over a craft emerges from the waters near the shore - a large octopus-like creature emerges from what seems to be a a membrane wall that lets the alien through. It slowly approaches on it's array of large tentacles and stands about 7 feet tall as it's tentacles form makeshift legs.
