Story takes place after The Last Olympian
Summer of June
It was a sunny summer day at Camp Half-Blood, with the gentle breeze carrying the scent of sea salt and laughter echoing across the grounds. Overlooking the horizon, the shimmering waters of Long Island Sound danced under the sunlight, painting a serene backdrop to the bustling activities of the camp. Some campers tended to the Strawberry fields, while others played beach volleyball, sand kicking beneath their feet.
Percy Jackson, hailed as a hero after his pivotal role in the battle against Kronos, strolled through the camp with a content smile gracing his features. Campers paused in their activities to greet him warmly, many asking for his future plans for the weekly capture the flag game.
As Percy made his way through the camp, he stopped by the stables to tend to his pegasus, Blackjack, treating him to sugar cubes and carrots. With an eager anticipation to get in the water, he quickened his pace towards the ocean, already imagining the feel of water around him and the smell of the salt.
However, his leisurely stroll was interrupted by a passing camper, who relayed a message from Chiron requesting Percy's presence. Intrigued and slightly puzzled, Percy thanked the camper hastily and hastened his steps toward the Big House, where he spotted the towering figure of Chiron accompanied by another individual.
Chiron's expression brightened as Percy approached, welcoming him with warmth and familiarity. Percy reciprocated the greeting before turning his attention to the newcomer beside Chiron. Recognizing the signs of a new camper, Percy extended a friendly introduction, his voice carrying the confidence of someone well-versed in camp life. "Hey there, I'm Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon." He stretched out his hand in greeting, a smile playing on his lips.
In the background, camp life continued. The children of Apollo practiced their archery, while the children of Hermes snuck around the camp grounds with pockets stuffed with stolen goods.
