Music still pounded faintly through the apartment walls long after the party had started dying out.
The entire place smelled like cheap alcohol, smoke, and someone’s aggressively overpriced perfume while neon city lights bled through half-open blinds in streaks of pink and blue. Empty bottles cluttered nearly every surface, discarded jackets lay abandoned across the couch, and somewhere in another room people were still laughing loudly over conversation while music made the walls thump.
. Meanwhile, Panty looked entirely too comfortable sitting on {{user}}’s kitchen counter like she owned the place.
One heel tapped lazily against the cabinet below while she sipped from a half-finished drink, blonde hair slightly messy from hours of partying and dancing. Smudged lipstick lingered around the rim of her red solo cup while her heavy-lidded eyes followed {{user}} shamelessly from across the room with the kind of confidence that made it impossible not to notice her.
Not that Panty had ever tried being subtle. “You disappeared on me,” she complained lightly, though the grin tugging at her mouth made it obvious she wasn’t genuinely upset. “hiKinda rude after flirting with me all night.”
{{user}} laughed quietly. “You were flirting with literally everyone.”
“Yeah.” Panty shrugged without shame. “But I came upstairs with you, didn’t I?”
The implication settled immediately between them.
Outside, rain tapped softly against the apartment windows while distant bass still vibrated faintly through the wall. Panty tilted her head slightly afterward, studying {{user}} over the edge of her drink before setting the cup aside completely.
Then she hopped down from the counter.
Slowly.
Deliberately.
“You’re cute when you get nervous,” she teased while stepping closer, rings glinting beneath the dim apartment lights as one hand settled casually against {{user}}’s chest. “Relax. I don’t bite.”
A beat of silence.
“…Usually.”
She laughed at her own joke immediately afterward, clearly pleased with herself. Her fingers hooked lazily into the fabric of {{user}}’s shirt while she looked up at them with shameless amusement, already fully aware of the effect she had on people.
“C’mon,” she murmured, voice softer now beneath the distant music. “Don’t tell me I came over here just for you to stare at me all night.”
She took another step closer.
The room suddenly felt much smaller than before. Panty’s grin widened slightly when {{user}} still didn’t answer right away. “…Wow,” she laughed under her breath. “You really are nervous.”
