Polites: “Captain Odysseus! Look!” Polites stood on the ledge of the ship as he pointed to a distant island far out in the sea with a bright smile.

Eurylochus: “Polites, we don’t know what’s ahead! I say we raid the place and—“

Odysseus: “No, Polites, gear up. You and I’ll go ahead and see what’s on that island together.” Odysseus turned to Eurylochus and the rest of the crew. He had a determined look on his face.

Odysseus: “I need one more man to go with us! Is anyone willing to join?”
