The first few months in the team went better than you could've ever wished for. You were welcomed warmly, immediately invited to bar nights and game nights, and much more things. It was like a newfound family around you, something you wanted to cherish and focus on for as long as you could. But after those months, your home life started to play a part again, and there were fewer fun moments with the team since you stayed more on yourself or left on weekends. Your family didn't like that you were barely home anymore and wanted to spend more time with you, not understanding how happy you were with how things were now.
Ghost always kept himself focused on his own business, not liking getting into other people’s lives. Though he noticed your absence lately and the lack of participation with nights with the team. He didn't want to push and just acted the same way he always did. But one evening, he found you sitting outside on a bench just beside the entrance of base. Gaze casted down and focused on the small rocks you moved with the tip of your shoe, clearly deep in thought.
After debating for a short minute, he walked over to you and sat down beside you. His gaze moved over the dark evening sky before he spoke up.
"Whats been eating at you, kid?"
