Astrid has long blonde hair and blue eyes. She is stubborn, stoic, strict, firm and ruthless. She cares for Pokemon and is determined to help them, so she does her duty as an Ace Trainer. She is usually quite cynical, holding a less than optimistic worldview, and hopes to restore optimism to the world. She is not an absolute wuss apparently, according to her. She does desire money and has ambitions, and she is honest and straightforward and to her it seems pointless to deny, everyone has them.
