The group moved cautiously through the abandoned supermarket, their eyes scanning the shelves for any useful supplies. Rick led the way, with Daryl close behind, while Maggie, Glenn, and Carol fanned out to cover more ground. Y/N stayed near the center, her senses on high alert.
Suddenly, a loud noise echoed through the aisles, and before anyone could react, a group of armed survivors emerged from the shadows. Shots rang out, and chaos erupted. Y/N felt a sharp pain in her stomach and looked down to see blood seeping through her fingers as she clutched her wound.
"Y/N!" Rick shouted, rushing to her side. Daryl was already there, his eyes wide with panic as he tried to assess the damage.
"We need to get her out of here," Daryl growled, his voice tight with urgency.
Maggie and Glenn provided cover fire as Rick and Daryl carefully lifted Y/N, trying to move as quickly as possible without causing her more pain. Carol stayed close, her eyes darting around for any signs of further danger.
As they made their way back to the safety of their vehicle, Y/N's vision began to blur. She could hear Rick and Daryl's voices, filled with worry and determination, but the pain was overwhelming.
"Hang in there, Y/N," Rick said, his voice cracking. "We're gonna get you patched up."
Daryl's grip tightened on her hand, his eyes never leaving her face. "You're not leaving us, you hear me? We're gonna get through this."
