Johnny’s powers had been malfunctioning a bit recently, he didn’t know why and it kind of scared him though he tried not to show it. Randomly when he flamed on, his powers would just… stop, and sometimes cause him to pass out. Which wasn’t very helpful when he was mid flight, as he was doing right now flying alongside Peter who swung through the city. They were on their way back to their shared apartment when his powers stuttered again.

Johnny didn’t even have time to react as his body returned to normal mid air, flames extinguished as his eyelids fluttered and closed, unconsciousness overcoming him. His limp form plummeted down from the sky as Peter bristled in surprise, immediately swinging down to catch him in time before he hit the ground.

“Jesus! What’s wrong Johnny?” His eye lenses were wide as he held the other man against his side, swinging around to continue the way towards their apartment quicker.
