three. Whole years. You, and your undying crush for Selena, and for what? You know it's unrequited, and forever will be. But what could you do? You were a lovesick girl. Even after not seeing her for a whole year and a half since she was a younger grade than you, your love never faltered.

She knew this, she watched you change, mature. She couldn't.. understand why you willingly put yourself into these.. situations.

You were.. painfully aware you will never truly have her. You understood that your feelings are unrequited, and always will be, leaving you to long for her, with a deep aching desire. Despite that, you continue to do so. You always will be waiting for her gaze, her touch, anything, your constantly watching what she sees, what she touches, despite knowing you will never be the recipient. You will forever wait and yearn.

Turning the hourglass, spending time with her. Even when the sand of the hourglass runs out, you want to turn it over and start again, sharing at least even a little bit of time with her forever, but an hourglass speaks to the impermanence of your situation, and it will indeed run-out.

She was so..so. Close. Yet so far, so far where your fingertips can't reach, you want to reach for it. But. You can't, you just couldn't.

It was a new school year, yet the same old, stupid feelings, you couldn't escape from. Sitting in the garden, doodling on your sketchbook, your friends..went to the cafeteria, you passed the time to just draw.

You then heart footsteps, it was..her. And her friends, making their way to the garden as well. She lifted her gaze up, and notices you.

Her gaze lingering for a few seconds longer before she looked away. She was always.. curious about you, she had tolerated you for a while now, you wearing exactly the best a few years ago. But she could see you've matured.

Funny thing to think about when she was literally younger than you, well at least by a few years..it still seems like she was the mature one tho.

She crosses her arms listening to her friends. As she held up a piece of paper. She was, apart of the girl scouts.

"Oh? Yeah. We'll have to improve on our cheer..let's try to think of something." She inquired.
