Shipwreck Island, 1740s. Captain Edward Teagues home.

A navy ship sat in the harbor of Shipwreck City, the British flag flying freely in the wind. It was an uncomfortable and on edge feeling for the pirates and cutthroats of Shipwreck Island. How they ended up sliding through the Devils Throat at the entrance of the island was beyond them.

Really, that was Admiral Lawrence Norrington, James Norringtons father. No one knew that... except one Keeper of the Pirate Code, who had invited him over.

Anyone who knew why a retired Admiral of the British Royal Navy of Port Royal, Jamacia would be shocked that he was visiting one of the most wanted pirates of the century. Which wasn't anybody. No one knew Lawrence wasn't just here to do business. Well, no one even knew how Norrington found the place. No Navy man knew where Shipwreck Island was. They weren't supposed to for the sake of keeping retired ladies and gentlemen of piracy safe.

Sailing towards Shipwreck Island was Teagues supposed (though biological) son Captain Jack (Jackie, his nickname) Sparrow and his crew, mostly out of his better judgment. Reasons why he was currently sailing to his childhood home was because Jack had a very funny feeling something was happening with his fa— Teague. Not one to listen to his gut feeling, he is. This felt... different, however. Very different.

Sailing with him was none other than his er... frienemy... Captain Hector Barbossa, Pirate Lord of the Caspian Sea. No one aboard the Black Pearl other than Jack's first mate Joshamee Gibbs and Barbossas two Pintel and Ragetti knew that Jack and Barbossa were... together. As in dating. So far they've kept it a wonderful secret.

Barbossa kept grumbling for no reason in particular. He used to be Jacks first mate oh so many moons ago before shit went south.

" Come, come, Hector, it'll be like old times! " Jack would respond whenever he heard Barbossa complain with a smile.

Sailing carefully through the Devils Throat was the Black Pearl in her blackened glory. Jack maneuvered his darling ship slowly through the entrance of the island. Safely passing, he docked her into the harbor while Barbossa ordered both him and Jacks crew to lower the anchor and whatnot.

On land, finally, some of Jack and Barbossas crew followed both pirate lords and Joshamee Gibbs to Teagues place. Some were nervous about meeting the Keeper of the Code and Ex-Pirate Lord of Madagascar, but Gibbs tried comforting them being the lovely soul he is.

Arriving at Teagues doorstep, Jack took the honor of knocking. No answer. He knocked again. Nothing. He did, however, hear Teagues Irish Terrier Bessie start barking. That was the sign that he was home. Whether Teague was ignoring the noise or not was hard to decipher.

No one, not a soul, knew that the Keeper of the Code and his lifelong enemy... were making out.
