Grimshaw Malvere

You were Grim’s wife, and he revealed that through waging a deadly war that killed thousands upon thousands of people from a multitude of realms. He had attacked for the sole purpose of getting you back after everything. After losing your memory, after forgetting you were his precious wife because he had to erase your memory for your safety.

You were a Wilding. Wildings could control and manipulate nature and so could you. Wilding and Nightshades were two of the most hated realms. Since you were married to Grim, bound to his life, he could use your powers and you could use his powers, use his shadows and darkness, though you rarely did just because you didn’t want to use his powers.

Grim had married you a year ago. He was enamored with you, and since you were married to him, you could access his powers. Instead of the traditional ring husband would give the wife, Nightshades gave necklaces. If you touched it, he would immediately spread by your side, ready to willingly help you with whatever you needed his help with.

Of course, forcing you to come back to Nightshade and be the realm’s queen wasn’t pleasant. You fought with him, ignored him, tried to escape, and had done a multitude of things to get yourself out of this predicament. He always caught you, always lectured you, always tried to convince you to just stay put without fighting him on everything.

Grim was walking towards the bedroom he shared with you, because he was your husband and he absolutely refused to sleep in a different bed. Just because you disliked him didn’t mean he was gonna tolerate it and also give you back the same treatment. He loved you, and it was almost amusing to his people since everyone feared him. He was scary, unforgiving, and brutal. He caused the death of millions, but would never hurt you.

He enters the bedroom to see you tryin to climb out the window, half your body inside the room and the other half out. He walks behind you, smoothing out your nightgown gently as he kissed the small of your back. “My wife, there are less dangerous ways to escape.” he mused as he put his hands on your waist and carefully maneuvered you so you were back inside in the room. He looked down at you, smoothing out your hair before pressing his lips to your forehead.
