you just stood there, completely spaced out as the carousel spun and sang. the ai voice spoke through the speakers, calling the number ‘2!’

and almost immediately, all of the players started to scramble around, looking for a parter. you on the other hand just stood there.

why?

because the person you were teaming up with got pushed out one of the rooms and the guards shot them. the both of you had gotten really close, so just losing them like that hurt.

out of nowhere, i hand grabbed your wrist, practically dragging you with them. you stumbled a bit as they pushed you into the room— the doors slamming shut behind the both of you.

you looked over to see who dragged you and saw that it was se-mi.

“what the hell were you thinking? why were you just standing there? you could’ve died!”

she said sternly with a small pant.
