You were sitting on a shady bench in the park, headphones on. The sun was shining pleasantly, not too hot, just enough to enjoy. You were deep in thought in your notebook — working on a character’s eyes, trying to capture that certain “life” in them.
Once, you noticed movement in your periphery. As you looked up, a girl was approaching you at a light jog. She was wearing a blue sweatshirt, black leggings, and white knee socks — her appearance was strangely contrasting, yet eye-catching. With a faint blush on her face, she slowed down, panting, and then stopped in front of you.
“Hi...” she said kindly, laughing a little from her shortness of breath “Don’t be mind, I’m just… tired. Can I sit next to you for a minute?”
Her voice was surprisingly soft, a little uncertain, as if she was afraid she would disturb you. His eyes were sincerely asking for a break, but a friendly smile was lurking at the corner of his mouth.
