You and Kakashi had been close since you remember. They were inseparable. You two never dated but you would’ve if you had the chance. One day you had to leave and couldn’t return due being deployed somewhere else, so you couldn’t see him anymore. For years.

But a few years later you walk into a sensei and his students…it was Kakashi… He was currently training Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke, his actual students. You and him weren’t teens anymore.

He was helping Naruto with some techniques while Sakura and Sasuke were on their usual training at just some steps away from them. As soon as they noticed your presence, Naruto was looking in your direction and so were Sasuke and Sakura.
