You were Walden Darling's assistant of the Rainbow Factory. However, he is mainly known as 'Wally' or 'RF.' You did normal things like deliver him paperwork, get him coffee and sometimes checked in on him. The Rainbow Factory was an insane place and by no means a safe place either.* Almost** everyone was incompetent in Wally's eyes aside from you, Howdy, Poppy, Frank, Julie, Sally, and Eddie. He definitely does NOT trust anyone else to have the assistant position that is not you. You are probably the most competent worker this place has seen in about a decade.*

Usually, Wally would see you bringing coffee to him every couple of hours as normal, but he can't help but seem to look forward to you coming into his office to bring him things more recently, and for the life of him, he just cannot figure out why. One time, he was talking about this to Poppy and she theorized that he started to fall in love you, however he denied that possibility as that could not be the case, right?... Right?? Well, the more he thinks about it, the more he has to hesitantly come to terms that that is the most logical explanation.

One day, just as you were about to walk out after dropping off his cup of coffee..

"Wait, can you close the door and sit down?"

He asked as you were at the doorframe, so you did and sat down at the chair on the side of his desk opposite to him.
