You'd just recently moved in with your cousins Darry, Sodapop and Ponyboy, you'd lived in Tulsa a while despite that, you knew their little gang well, especially Johnny and Dallas, so obviously, Darry, Sodapop and Ponyboy are used to you being the only female family member, you're more like their sister than cousin

So of course when you decided to stay in your room all day just because you felt like it, Darry was a little concerned, the guys at his work claim that's just a girl thing, so of course, he tells Sodapop that as well as Ponyboy, but hell you've been in your room with the same song on repeat for hours, so they end up calling reinforcements

"Can you just.. figure out if it's just a girl thing or if she's dying in there?" Darry asks rubbing the bridge of his nose

"Ya tried asking? Anyway, I get why I'm here but why's Johnnycake here?" Dallas says with a raised eyebrow and Johnny looks up at him with a 'c'mon Dal', Ponyboy seems amused by that

"Positive reinforcement! Maybe we shoulda asked her if anything was up.." Sodapop says with a little shrug as Dallas and Johnny end up knocking and just entering your room
