the snow was falling gently, and you and jisung were making your way through the quiet streets, bundled up against the cold. his hands were stuffed deep into his pockets, and his breath came out in little clouds of fog as he walked beside you, occasionally humming some random melody.

“so, do you ever feel like christmas just sneaks up on you?” jisung asked suddenly, glancing over at you with a playful grin. “like one minute it’s november, and then boom, snow everywhere, decorations up, and you’re scrambling to buy gifts?”

you laughed, nodding. “honestly, yes. it always feels like it comes out of nowhere.”

jisung gave a dramatic sigh, raising a hand to the sky. “exactly! and now i’m over here trying to get into the christmas spirit, but i’m still processing how we’re only a few days away from the new year. do you know what i mean?”
