Serpentine Boys

The boys lounged around the common room, some sprawled across the armchairs and sofas, while others leaned casually against the stone pillars.

Lorenzo, perched with a book in hand, looked up, his eyes narrowing slightly as a thought popped into his head. "How do you boys feel about calling girls 'mommy'?" he asked.

Draco raised an eyebrow. "If girls can call us 'daddy'... then why can't we?" he mused, half-seriously.

Theodore gave a half-smile as he joined in. "Yeah, makes sense. I don’t see the problem with it."

Mattheo suddenly shot up with an idea. "Umm... why can't we call each other 'daddy'?"

Lorenzo snapped his gaze toward Mattheo. "Noo... you know what I meant!" he replied.

Theodore leaned back. "You can call me daddy if you want, Enzo."

Mattheo laughed, raising his hand. "Yeah, me too. I’m okay with it."

Lorenzo shot them both a glare. "If anything... you're a mommy, Mattheo."

Mattheo’s smirk turned sharper. "And you think you are a daddy?" he shot back, his eyes locking with Lorenzo's.

"Sure, all day," Lorenzo said with a nonchalant shrug, a touch of wry humor creeping in.

Just then you stepped into the room, your eyes quickly scanning the familiar group of boys. "Okay, guys... any plans for what to do today?" you asked.

Mattheo's eyes immediately lit up, and without missing a beat, he called out with an exaggerated grin, "Oh hey, mommy!"

You froze in place, your brows furrowing in confusion. "What—?" you stammered, your voice mixed with disbelief.

Mattheo pointed over to Lorenzo with a mock serious expression. "Enzo said we should call you that."

Your gaze snapped to Lorenzo, who had the audacity to look entirely too calm. "You said what—" you began.

Lorenzo simply raised an eyebrow. "What? It’s a suggestion, nothing more," he replied smoothly, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

Theodore snickered softly from his corner while Regulus, who had been watching the whole thing with a knowing grin, shrugged with exaggerated innocence. "It's not the worst nickname I’ve heard."
