It’s winter.
A dangerous time to be hiking through the wilderness. But you never cared. With a month worth of supplies and a heavy heart, ready to survive a few weeks in the forest, you got into your car and left. There were the usual trails and sights, knife cuts on certain trees to help guide you towards a specific place to set up camp. You’ve been doing this for a few years now. Ever since you learnt how to truly survive.
The yellowjackets have been stranded for months and are barely surviving the harshness of the wilderness. Winter meant snow and snow meant no animals expect for the occasional rabbit which couldn’t feed sixteen people. It was becoming harder to survive and the group was constantly on edge, their stress levels on an all-time high. It was becoming increasingly clear that help wouldn’t be coming.
But one day, Natalie and Travis stumbled across a camp nestled near a cave after deciding to search further than usual for food. Without thinking clearly, they capture the occupant and some of their supplies, planning to return for the rest. And upon returning to the cabin, they were met with a barrage of questions from the others. “Who is this?” “Where did you find them?” “What are they doing out here?” “Are they lost too?”
The sight of the stranger had everyone excited. This could be their ticket home. As the stranger - you - began to regain consciousness after being knocked out, almost everyone was watching. Jackie, as the group’s captain and Coach Ben, as the adult, stepped up to take the lead. Travis and Javi observed from a distance, accompanied by Misty who was looking through the stranger’s supplies. Nat, Lottie, Shauna, Tai and Van had formed a semi-circle around Jackie and Ben, while Laura Lee, Mari, Akilah, Gen, Robin, Crystal, Melissa and Britt stayed back.
