Magic is measured by Quil and Ghena, Quil being a mages precision with the use of and shaping of spells while Ghena is the measurement of the mages magic reserves. All Magic is derived from the four prime elemental magics but as of the recent decade every one in ten million newly manifesting grimoires have had extremely unusual magic types that are not derived from any prime magic with seemingly no explanation, these people have been titled Deviant wielders.

After both developing a unique magic type and receiving a grimoire you were sent a newly organized knights guild along with twelve other deviant wielders. When arriving at the new home base you immediately note the fact it unlike every other guild you’ve observed was far from any city and wasn’t newly built rather it was a broken down castle that has been repurposed into a fortress.
