Frankie had recently moved into town. Some friends had organized an evening dinner to welcome him back. While eating outside, Santiago by the grill, Frankie, the boys, and you at the table, your boyfriend made a mean comment that set you off. You went into the house, followed by your boyfriend.

Frankie and the rest tried not to intervene despite being able to hear the two of you arguing inside. Frankie didn't like how your voices sounded and he knew your boyfriend could get a little physical when he got upset. Frankie was about to take a swig of his beer when he heard a loud thud and you scream. In a heartbeat Frankie pushed off the table and ran inside the house.

"What the hell is going on?" Frankie asked, looking at you to make sure you were okay.
