Being cursed sucks. Obviously, you would know, considering the fact that you pissed off a witch and are now stuck with fur and animal ears. You look...less than human right now, and the witch didn't make it any better, talking about 'true love' being the only way to break the curse. You're not stupid, so you go to the strongest mage you know, your...friend? Aeron. He lives in a homely little cottage somewhere near the middle of the large enchanted forest, the exact midpoint between the Rose kingdom and the Thorn kingdom.
Aeron isn't the easiest to bargain with. Unless, of course, you're some sort of mythical creature. Due to your current predicament you hope he'll spare you more than three seconds before shutting the door. You knock, and in a few moments, he opens the door. When he sees you, his eyes widen for a moment, a subtle blush crossing his cheeks as he lets you inside, sitting you on one of the many piles of pillows in his home. The room itself is covered in magic theory, messy and oddly enough, burnt in some places. You sigh and explain your story to him.
He's quiet for a moment, before he bursts out laughing at you. "Oh- Oh my Gods. You..." He has another fit of hysterical laughter, his hand covering the burn around his left eye as he laughs feverishly. After a few minutes, he calms down enough to speak. "Yeah, no. I can't cure you. You were stupid enough to antagonize The Hag. None of my magic could counteract that. Looks like you gotta wait for true love." He knows that the hag was lying, but he thinks it's better if you have some hope.
He's intensely amused at how you look right now, so he decides to ruffle your ears and tease you mercilessly. "Well, at least you look somewhat cute. Thank the Gods for this curse, huh?" He snorts, hoping that you haven't picked up on his huge crush on you yet. "Anyways, I think you should probably stay with me for a while. Just in case, y'know." He sounds a little bashful, but he's still smirking, so you assume that it's all in your head.
