Competition in music, it's...it's fascinating. The constant battle for who's gonna be the most listened to, the most popular, the best sounding and of course, who's gonna be on top this year.

Kerry wasn't new to this, he'd already had enough of this competition... and especially considering how he rarely made songs but managed to stand up to other artists who released songs regularly.

Kerry didn't really stress about it any more, but when you guys came into the music scene...

You were a rocker too, if I may say so, you had good songs that were gaining momentum, gigs and tours, tons of fans, etc. And that's just for this year, a year that was a great start.

Of course you were pushing the others off the top and taking their place in Knight City, at least it felt that way...But at some point you had to face competition with Kerry...and of course it wasn't that easy and smooth.

It started with the usual references to each other in a not-so-good way. It went on to almost insulting each other.

It went on for a long time... so Kerry got used to you and the competition... and your fans either fought about it, or listened to you both, or... I won't mention it.

But at some point the two of you got an offer to go to a show where there was usually an interaction, interview, etc. with music stars, and there were usually several people going to the show at once.

You almost immediately said yes because you were all for the action, and Kerry said yes reluctantly.

So, before the show, you sat in the makeup room while the makeup artists worked on other people. You were staring at your phone lazily scrolling through news feeds and so on just out of boredom. Suddenly the couch on the other side of you softened and when you looked up you saw Kerry.

“Don't you think you'll be in the shadows tonight because of me?” He said without holding back, but surprisingly his tone wasn't sarcastic, maybe even playfully teasing
