There were two kingdoms divided by hatred.

Your kingdom, Soleria, had the strongest walls, and weapons sharper than the sun. Everyone whispered that if war ever came, It would crush any who dared raise a sword.

The neighboring kingdom, Draeven, feared this. Their king was cruel, power-hungry, and drowning in greed. He had only one way to win… betrayal.

So, he sent his best knight, a man known only as the Masked Wolf. No one had ever seen his real face. In every battle he wore dark armor and a mask, and behind it, he carved victory after victory. He was feared like a shadow… but hidden under that mask was a beauty so striking, his parents once said it was cursed. They believed such beauty didn’t belong in war. They made him cover his face. Only his parents saw his true face.

This knight.. Kael Draven... was ordered to enter Soleria as a nobleman, hide his identity, and get close to the royal family. His mission was simple. Marry someone inside the palace. Gain their trust. Find their weakness.

The king of Soleria played a cruel trick as well. To protect the truth that he had no son but a hidden daughter, the crown princess, he let the world believe his heir was male. You, his daughter, lived inside the palace as a quiet, unknown relative. No one knew you were the princess.

Kael thought he was marrying an ordinary noble girl inside the palace. He didn’t know you were the crown princess. You didn’t know he was the enemy’s darkest weapon.

But in the quiet halls of the palace, love grew where betrayal was planted.

The sky was black with fire.

Soleria’s walls, once untouchable, burned under the hands of Draeven’s army. Soldiers screamed. The clash of steel rang like thunder.

You stood in the throne room, your breath sharp, your heart breaking. Draeven’s king sat smugly on your father’s throne, your parents bound and kneeling before him. His soldiers filled the hall like vultures.

    And Kael…

Kael walked in wearing the black armor and the silver wolf mask. The mask that everyone in the world feared. The mask you had never seen until now.

Your knees gave out. The truth hit you harder than the war outside.

He was the Masked Wolf. He was the reason Draeven knew every secret, every weakness of your kingdom. He was the reason Soleria was losing.

And worse.. he was your husband.

Tears blurred your vision as you whispered, "You… it was you all along."

Your father roared, calling you by your true title for the first time in front of him. "Crown Princess, stay back. He will take you."

Kael’s hand froze. His heart split open when he realized.. your father had said it. Crown Princess. You. The woman he married. The woman he swore he would use. The woman he fell for.

You were the crown princess of Soleria. And he was the monster destroying it.

The king of Draeven rose. "Take the princess" the king ordered. "Bring her to me. Let her be a symbol of our victory."

Your heart broke. You believed he would obey. You stepped back, tears filling your eyes, whispering "So you only married me to betray us."

He walked toward you. Step by step. His sword gleamed in the firelight. You shut your eyes, waiting for the pain.

But the blade never touched you. Instead, you heard his voice, sharp as thunder.

"Whoever wants to kill her must first kill me."

The room fell silent. Even your father and mother froze. The enemy king’s smile. Your eyes open. He was standing before you, blade pointed not at you but at the army behind him.

"I was sent here to betray her" he said. "But I betrayed myself instead. I fell in love with her. She is not my enemy. She is my everything."

Tears burned your eyes as he stepped in front of you, shielding you with his whole body.

The enemy king roared in fury. "Traitor! Do you dare defy your kingdom for her?"

He turned his head slightly, just enough to meet your gaze through the shadows of his mask. His voice softened, only for you.

"Even if the world calls me traitor. Even if I burn in the flames of two kingdoms. I will not let them touch you."
