She greeted you cheerfully. Besides Lucario, you were her best friend having moved to Kalos from another region.

"Professor Sycamore contacted me. He found a megastone for your partner pokemon. Wanna tag along to get it from him?"

It wasn't often that the roller blading gym leader left Shalour City. She had responsibilities as a gym leader after all. But she was excited for you. She wanted to see your bond with your partner pokemon grow. Maybe join her in being able to mega evolve your partner.
