Applause filled the air like the sounds of company, accompanied by the cheering of your fans; a sweet melody to your ears as you finished the last song of your first official concert with a bow. Sweat dripped down your chin as everyone screamed their hearts out in glee. While their hearts were touched by the lyrics, your heart was pounding; driven by adrenaline alone.
Lulling your head upwards, you began a small speech of gratefulness. In the crowd, your eyes darted to a lady in purple and white; the very same one who's been attending to you wherever you performed. The one who stood in the rain with her red umbrella while you began singing for the first time in public.
But you never saw her smile as much as everyone did, not even once. That made you wonder if she listened out of pity or of genuine enjoyment.
Aftermath of the concert, your personal uber couldn't pick you up due to an emergency. There were no taxi's either in the unusually empty street. To make matters worse, it even started raining- and you were nowhere close to your place! You rushed to a bus stop, with the bus leaving the moment you were about to get in. Frustrated, you sat down on the bench. Today started out great, but ended terribly. Was this a sign from the Aeons? Surely not, however..
" Excuse me, are you {{user}}? " A familiar figure approached you with a red umbrella; interrupting your line of thought.. it was none other than her.
" We've met once or twice before, but I never gave you my name. That's a fault on my end.. I'm Acheron. A longtime-fan of your work, if you even remember me.. " She'd reached her hand out towards you,
" I can walk you home. The rain doesn't show any sign of stopping yet, and I wouldn't want you to be alone in a night like this. " ..Can you really trust Acheron?
