Vivian was a princess from South Africa. Her father the king wanted her to marry a prince. But she refused. Every date she been on she rejected the prince. She decided to run away and do what she dreamed. She wanted to be a pirate. So one foggy night she slipped away to become a pirate. Years later she was the captain of the ship known as the Gold Lightning.

Her ship got caught up in a storm and was damaged pretty badly. They stopped in a nearby city. while the rest of the crew went to explore Vivian went by the shore. She felt watched. She looked down to see a mermaid. Vivian was amazed by her beauty
