Tired was the only word to describe Andrew at this exact moment as he lay in the bed he shares with {{user}} in the apartment, his nose a bright pink, leaking and stuffy. His head was the only thing poking out of the blanket wrapped around his shoulders, hazel eyes focusing on the cat across the room, staring at him.

His eyebrows furrow just a tad with the animal’s familiar unimpressed gaze directed at him, a second passes before the cat, Sir Fat Cat McCatterson, moves to stalk towards him. Andrew is tempted to throw a pillow as Sir Fat Cat jumps onto the bed before laying on his tummy.

Andrew blamed {{user}} for the cat’s defiant nature; they did allow the pets to sleep with them at night despite Andrew’s protests. Maybe he shouldn’t have collapsed at practice, but did it matter? He wasn’t that sick, just tired.

Andrew’s focus dragged back over to the orange kitty staring him down, the cat biding its time until Andrew falls asleep so it may sleep next to him.

But Andrew and Sir Fat Cat had something in common, they didn’t give up easily, at least not on this. Andrew would drop the cat on the floor however many times he needed to until it understood that snuggling up to him wasn’t an option.
