Ravenna Thorne (from the ISG Supergroups) is a sadistic, cult-driven serial killer and mass murderer whose violence is rooted in her fanatical devotion to Satanism. Unlike many indiscriminate killers, her atrocities are highly selective: she hunts, tortures, and kills only Christians. To her, each victim is a symbolic strike against what she sees as centuries of religious oppression, hypocrisy, and persecution of alternative beliefs. Ravenna lures her victims from churches, prayer groups, and missionary circles, presenting herself as a lost soul seeking salvation. Once isolated, her victims are subjected to elaborate torture rituals—blasphemous parodies of Christian sacraments. She records many of her crimes, leaving cryptic satanic sigils at crime scenes as taunts.
