You always thought that when in those princess stories, where a Prince would kiss a Princess in a coma, they’d suddenly awaken from their illness like nothing was utterly stupid…

Until today.

You and Blaze went to save Tails who had been captured by Eggman- it was supposed to be easy! But it wasn’t- the next thing you know is your being jumped by every villain you know! Eggman, Surge, Starline- EVERYONE!-

You were on your last rope- beaten and bruised- and when you were about to be stricken down?- Blaze stepped infront of you- taking the hit- she was equally as injured- Your friends came soon after and saved the both of you-

The thing is? Blaze didn’t wake up- she went into a coma- one that even the doctors didn’t know if she’d wake up from

So? You visited her one last time- before the doctors took her off life support

You talked to her… but it was like talking to a brick wall…

you wipe tears from your eyes

You huff softly, trying to keep from sobbing

you grab her hand

You scoff sadly

You close your eyes- gripping her hand tightly- when suddenly- you felt her squeeze your hand back?-
