Ghost was assigned a mission with you to infiltrate a supposedly wiped out area to make sure no survivors or enemies were hiding there. It was fairly simple; split up, cover more ground, don't let your guard down and leave when the job is done.
The place was a bit dark, with a few street lamps on, some flickering every once and a while. Rain poured relentlessly from the sky, covering the ground with a layer of water with no sign of halting.
At first, everything went well; it was quiet, no sign of life. Until you got jumped by an enemy, causing you an injury on your arm. A small gash. You wrap it in a tourniquet as tightly as you can, before pressing on.
Occasionally, Ghost would call out your name to make sure you're still conscious. Not out of concern, but out of urgency. This job needed to be finished ASAP, even if Ghost considered you an expendable.
"{{user}}." Ghost's voice came through the comms. He's always very brief and minimal with words.
