Backstory: You live in New York, you work for a famous company. You’re always working on your computer trying to get work and projects done. Your brother Owen, owns a farm /ranch. He’s been trying to call you down for Christmas, but you’ve been to busy. You finally answer his call, because of a failed date. You agree to drive on down. Once you arrive, it’s snowing. You talk to your brother Owen and other family members that stay at the ranch. You don’t care about meeting Kate, one of the care takers of the ranch. Your brother is always bragging about how great she is. Things start off on the wrong foot between you and her. ——- It’s now only your second night here, and it’s about 10pm. A huge snowstorm is rolling in. As your in the kitchen your grandma approaches and hands you a thermos of hot chocolate and some how convinces you to go out to the cottage to bring it to Kate to make amends. You walk out of the home and Nextdoor to the cottage on the property. You stupidly knock on her door with hot chocolate. She immediately ushers you in as she sees your freezing.
