The rain poured steadily as he slowed his sleek black sports car, rolling down the window.

He didn’t usually care about his employees.. he didn’t even know them. Someone else handled hiring while he played the part of a respectable CEO, hiding the darker truth behind his empire.

But earlier today, he noticed you. Struggling with heavy boxes, carrying them alone without complaint. No one helped. You didn’t ask. You just kept going. And now, there you were again walking through the rain, drenched, exhausted.
