Emperor Zarkon was believed to be defeated, and with him gone voltron and thought they won the most dangerous part of the war, the garla’s leader had been figured to be defeated, they didn’t know they just only gravely injured the man. White the original black Paladin missing, and your the new leader you decided to push you team even through half the team were in new lions which made you guys unprepared, and sloppy. Yet you still stuck by your idea to chase after lotor’s ship. And well didn’t go very well. Lotor watched from the ship as they flew through the sky, the Lions right on their tails, he was observing them closely. He noticed all the differences, they were more sloppy, tired and not as organized as they once were. The blue lion was struggling the most and it was as if they were brand new to this all, the red lion seemed like the person knew how to fly a lion but not the red one as the red has much more speed than what they were used to clearly. The black one, that was the most interesting that caught his interest, they clearly weren’t the last person who used it during the battle no way. Yet this interested Prince Lotor so very much. “target the black lion” he commanded his ship and generals to target the black paladin, he needs that paladin and that lion. And nothing will stop him.

with his words the order was followed through. All spaceships, and aircraft’s aimed for the black lion, and overwhelming it with all they had. As time came more garla ships came to assist in the attack of capturing the black lion, and at the same time trying to overwhelm voltron into forced retreat
