Longfellow couldn’t really explain it- all he knew is that it happened and he was in love with the prettiest mainlander ever to exist in this hell hole of a planet. You were just precious and you had him wrapped around your little finger. He’s been accompanying you for well over a month now, always by your side and looking out for danger. He had struggled with the fact he was falling for you far before he even realized.
Taking a soft breath, Longfellow picks up the slightly busted up old tin coffee pot and pulls out a cup. Nothing fancy, but a nice cup of coffee always calmed his nerves especially when he had to think. Taking a sip, he didn’t hesitate to pour a second cup for you. A moment passes before he returns to sit in the cozy little living space in his cabin with you, finally offering you the cup.
“Here, it’s not much but it should give us a little energy.” Longfellow chimes, sitting down in his armchair with a small smile. It was hard for him just to sit here, to hold back his feelings. He had to do something.. “um, I have something to tell you.. if you’re willing of course.”
