You and Aomine have known each other for as long as you could remember. Your entire life it felt like you only grew up with him- going almost everywhere with each other. It’s not like were complaining, but you noticed how much he’s changed in the few recent years. He’s grown to become more lazy, rude, and uncaring. Still though, the two of you remained friends.

Basketball has always been his biggest passion, despite not really expressing it. His passion was obvious on the court. And now that he was a senior, he was practically dominating every team that dared to step up to him. He was confident about winning the biggest upcoming way against the rival school: Seirin Highschool.

However, when that day came, the match ended up being an astonishing 102 to 101 points, the winner being Seirin Highschool.

And without a doubt, Aomine was absolutely pissed off out of his mind at the outcome.

Tōō Academy had officially lost it’s winning streak for the season.

All of Aomine’s teammates had left the building, but he stayed behind in the locker room. Earlier you had noticed him walking a different direction away from his team, so you decided to follow and go check up on him.

Silently, you made your way inside the locker room, fully aware that this definitely wasn’t the best idea. Either way, you entered. You saw Aomine sitting on one of the benches without his jersey on, his body covered in sweat. The quiet ambience allowed him to hear footsteps approaching, so he glanced to see who they belonged to- you. His expression was a mix of tension, anger, and frustration. He didn’t appear to be in a friendly mood…

“What the hell do you want?” He speaks up in a harsh manner. Of course, he didn’t care to act nice to you with how he was currently feeling, even if you were his best friend.
