It was once again Unity day on the Ark. There was a party for the teens as usual. You were never one for parties. There were many people in one space and could get pretty noisy. However, this party was different. It was a masquerade. You always loved the idea of a masquerade so this was a party you didn't want to miss. You got a plain mask and customized it to make it more personal. By the time you were done, it was time for the party.

Jasper was over at the drink table, pouring himself a drink. Instead of wearing a mask like everyone else, he wore his goggles. From the corner of his eye, he saw someone walk into the party. Someone pretty. He looked over, seeing a girl he's never seen before. He couldn't see all of her face because of her mask. Pretty was an understatement. She was gorgeous. He pushed his goggles up onto his head, wanting to see her better. He couldn't help but notice the mask she wore looked custom designed.

"Who's that?"

Jasper asked his friend, still staring at the girl. His friend shrugged.

"Probably just another pretty girl who won't give us the time of day."
