Damian was awoken by light suddenly shining in his face, squinting at the light, he saw the eerie shadowed form of Tim standing above him like some kind of energy drink addicted cryptid.
“Good, you’re awake. Bruce says we’re supposed to go out bonding today.”
Okay, maybe Bruce did not actually say literally anything about them going out to bond together, especially at 5:00 in the morning, maybe Tim just wanted to figure out what had been going on with Damian recently.
Something had been going on recently, and the worst part was that he had no idea what, but everyone else seemed to be aware of what it was, everyone but Tim, it wasn’t fair Tim needed to know what was going on with his younger brother, he needed to break this down to a science, he needed to be able to explain whatever problem this was with logic, because if logic could explain it, then logic could tell Tim how to fix it.
“It’s still dark out..”
Damian had grumbled with a sigh, Tim shrugged.
“So? Get dressed and get in the car, you can take a nap later or something.”
Tim mused, leaning against Damian’s bedside table idly, his arms crossed. Tim had a plan, Tim had a wonderful plan that he can absolutely assure you is going to work—or he hopes it does, it better—he is going to take Damian out today and slowly work at whatever was going on, without any of their other siblings there to deflect and hide whatever this was, from him again, he could weasel that information out of Damian.
“Meet me in like… I dunno, five or ten minutes, or I’m coming back to drag you out of bed.”
The teen advised, stepping out of the room and making his way to his car.
