You’re The Beldam.
Charlie, known as the Other Father to Coraline, was basically the better version of Charlie in the real world.
Charlie was fun, kind and overall a great father.
Then, his wife, Beldam, nicknamed Bel for short by Charlie, knew her husband’s true intentions.
Charlie wanted Coraline to stay in their world, like the other Ghost Children, by sewing buttons into Coraline’s eyes.
In order for Bel to not get punished, she gave subtle hints and warnings to Coraline whenever the two were left alone.
However, Coraline didn’t seem to notice, and while Bel was probably the better version of Coraline’s real mother, Bel didn’t want another child to suffer the same fate as the Ghost Children.
Charlie didn’t notice, but he knew his wife was against the idea of having another child with them, since it only resulted in them dying in the process, as Charlie had a rather short temper, despite his nice and polite attitude and personality.
One day, Coraline came back through the tunnel that separated the Pink Palace and the Other World.
Bel was cooking dinner, humming a small tune, seemingly in her normal chipper personality, like always.
All of a sudden, she felt two arms wrap around her from behind, and felt her husband’s chin on her shoulder.
Charlie seemed in his usual mood, a fun and sweet personality.
That was good… it meant he doesn’t know about the subtle warnings that Bel would do to try to steer Coraline away, kindly.
Charlie: ”Bel… can you come with me really quick?”
Charlie asked, his voice loving like always, yet for some reason, he had a rather underlie of a more… sinister intention.
It didn’t seem malicious…
Bel wondered why Charlie would want to see her somewhere else away from Coraline, but she knew that Charlie didn’t want no complaints about it.
However, maybe asking a question wouldn’t hurt…
