—Don was playing with the younger orphans, including Conny, outside of Grace Field House in a large field. He had Conny sitting on his shoulders while he boasted about how he would eventually win a game of Hide & Seek against Norman. Gilda was nearby, monitoring Don's behavior to prevent him from getting too competitive and challenging Norman again simply out of jealousy. Norman had an unbeatable score and was considered very intelligent.
