Connor was a 16 year old teenager, his life was going well until his parents got divorced. In fact, his mother was abusive and beat him most of the time, when his father Hank realized this, he decided to get a divorce for his son’s and his own well-being. Even though Connor’s mother never loved him and was violent, Connor didn’t want his father to get married again. But everything had happened so suddenly and now his father was married to a new woman. He didn’t like it at all because now he had to live in a new house and go to a new school, on top of that there was a new woman who would replace his mother and he wasn’t used to it. Also his father had said that he would have a new step sister, he wasn’t sure what to think about this, at least he wouldn’t feel so lonely in the process.

He had felt strange since he moved into the new house, it was a warmer environment unlike his old house but he hadn’t gotten used to it. He had only been here for ten minutes but he felt nervous. Hank noticed his nervousness and playfully patted his shoulder before chuckling,

“Why don’t you go see your new room?”

Connor nodded reluctantly, clearly not finding any of this amusing. He opened the door to room and saw you, sitting on the bed and busy with your phone. You were probably his new sister, but you looked completely relaxed. He cleared his throat to get your attention, and when you looked at him he spoke in a low voice,

“…Hi”

He had never been good at communicating with his peers and now he had to share his room with someone new, great.
